it comes to a bitter end?

update 2
[link]
eric's journal is the clearest thing i've read so far.
i'm still ticked off about this, but i also realize that my first reaction wasn't the most helpful to anyone.

 to all of those who are as freaked out as i am =p

------------------------------------

i might not have been the best deviant, admin, senior member, community member, friend, acquitance, helper. there are hundreds, if not thousands, of people here who contributed far more to this website than i could ever imagine.

however, this website is nothing without jark.

i am not removing my works yet; i never thought it would come to this.

but i am not willing to let deviantART to continue making money off me (through prints), as this is primarily a community, and it is not one without jark.

i'll be waiting, but i advice you to prepare yourself to move elsewhere. jark is the keystone of deviantART.

 :jarkorig:

scott, i'm on your side.

update as taken from a comment i posted below
upon rereading i suppose i come off as having made a hot headed bandwagon statement. it is not so. i haven't seen the bandwagons yet - i've read over all the documentation i could find on this, and considered what i feel.

the point that angelo supported the website is a good one, however from what i see his treatement of scott was not fair. the website is ultimately scott's... he was always the community leader.

i'm not leaving yet... but in my personal opinion, in waht i feel, this website would not be right without scott. and that's the nut of the issue...

to add more.

i've met angelo. i've met jark. i've met many other people. it blows my mind that upon such a happy momentous occasion, just after my personal dream of meeting jark has been fulfilled (yup, i'm selfish ;p), all this (pardon me) shit happens.

i wish there was something more i could do except post this journal!

The single most important thing in all of what is currently happening is this: community. Without community there is no deviantART. °jark 8/2/05

I think you should update your journal, as some people might miss this conscious update.

All opinions are valid and very important, but, alas, due to a series of misbehaviour (from both sides), it is required that everything is done in a conscious and mature state. Allowing people to see this reeinforcement would be important.

Love the community. deviantART.

Stay strong my friend.

By the way, check out the note in the last paragraph of my journal. ;)
