i'm engaged!

hard to believe its been this long from my last post; but alas, here we are in august of 2007.

i finished university; found a job. its been awesome times - camping, partying (lots of this.... must celebrate the completion of my education (for the time being (nested brackets w00t)) properly!), decorating (i'm quite into interior design nowadays), etc.

3 weeks ago my boyfriend (now ... fiance - how strange it is to say that!) proposed to me in niagara on the lake. it was sweet and fun, and surprisingly, completely unlike what i thought it would feel like. (the feeling, not the proposal - we are nixing the engagement ring and are in general completely unorthodox with the entire process).

other than the whole, lets get married part. that's pretty orthodox, i suppose. :P

anyway, i'm in midst of party planning and its quite rough, to my great surprise.

thus; any ideas for a good wedding are welcome. we're hosting it in my parents' backyard, where lotsa booze and lotsa food and lotsa music will be available for entertainment.
